Ruth Ingram

Ruth Ingram McDicken went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 8th of April 2008 at the age of 85.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Helen (Martin); sons: Allistair (Anne) and Billy (Trish); grandchildren: Brynn, Chris, Mark, Caroline, Keith, Jennifer and Ross and also by seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill.
Ruth was born in Scotland in 1922. She married Bill in 1944. On their retirement they relocated in the Comox Valley where they lived life to the fullest, making many new friends.
Ruth’s particular pleasure was music and singing which endured with her always.
Special thanks to all of the wonderful people who surrounded her with care, love and song at Oceanview care facility, St. Joseph’s Hospital and also to Dr. Kristin Emmott.
A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Piercy’s Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 am with Chaplain Brian Ducedre officiating.
