West - Ruth Ruby, born November 19th, 1937. Ruthie to her friends and family passed away February 8th, 2003, at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, B.C.
She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband of 47 wonderful years, Bill West; daughters Judy and Bev; sons-in-law Randy and Dave; grandchildren: Jordan, Ashley, Jeff and Craig. Ruth is survived by brothers Walter and David; sisters Lee and Hazel; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Frank and Charlie, and sister Pearl.
Born in Calgary, Alberta to Catherine and Ronald Ganong. With their first daughter Judy in tow they moved to Ioco, B.C. where their second daughter Bev was born. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing golf with Bill and many friends. Bill and Ruth spent the last 12 retired years in Courtenay.
