Ware, Selina

June 15, 1923 - September 5, 2004
Selina passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease at Glacier View Lodge, Courtenay, BC.
Selina was born at Coombs, BC to John and Sarah Neden. She was one of eight children. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Clarence, John, Joe, Frank, Jim; and sister Abigail; grandchildren: Leona, Alison and Cory and by her stepson Ron Ware. She was also predeceased by her husband Fred Bushaw in 1969.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Ware; brother Issac Neden; sisters-in-law: Flo Neden and Phyllis Neden; her children: Sylvia (Frank) Reusch, Gloria (Jim) Swanton, Fred (Debbie) Bushaw, Beryl (John) Thielmann, Wendy (Ron) Tuck and Brenda (Gary) Britt; stepchildren: Ray Ware, Lynda (Harlan) Miller, Brad (Barb) Ware, Don (Susan) Ware; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their thanks to the Glacier View Lodge Staff for their kindness and care of mom during her stay there.
A Memorial Service will be held from the Chapel of Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay, BC on Friday, September 10, at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Glacier View Lodge or to the Parkinson’s Society would be greatly appreciated. Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
