1922 - 2009


Spencer passed away suddenly on March 10, 2009 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his wife, Lily (2003), brothers Leif, Frank, Arthur, Harry and granddaughter Lee-Anna (1986). He is survived by his sons Terry (Linda), Greg, Doug (Josie); grandchildren Jamin (Jenny), Aaron, Kaysie, Darren; great-grandchildren Jakin, Jairus and Judah; two sisters-in-law: Lorette Rohne, Evelyn Langford; one brother-in-law John Moan; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends throughout the Valley who will all miss him dearly.

Dad was born in Inwood, Manitoba. He spent most of his life in the Forces from 1954 to 1972. His greatest love was his family, then the outdoors, and for years he was involved in Ducks Unlimited and the Fish and Game Club.

He faithfully attended Remembrance Day every year and was an active member of the Canadian Legion and Wing.

A Celebration of Dad's life will be held at The Wing, March 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Everyone is welcome along with stories and memories you would like to share.
