LEWIS - Stanley Lea, "Stan" a resident of the Extended Care unit, St. Joseph's Hospital, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17th. 2009, aged 80.
Predeceased by his parents Vern and Charlotte and his former wife Joyce, Stan is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughters Paula (Don) Clark and Pamela and partner Keith; grandchildren Sara and Phillip and other family members in the U.S. He served in both the U.S. Army and The National Guard and in his leisure enjoyed ham radio and time in his garden where he grew vegetables and flowers and was particularly proud of his beautiful roses. Stan will be remembered as one who never took more than he needed, but always gave back more. He was a constant contributor to the soup kitchen at St. George's Church and will be remembered for the homemade muffins he provided each week.
