Time and Tide wait for no man.
Sylvain Ouellet passed away suddenly just after Christmas.
From the beginning he walked to the beat of his own drum and what a glorious sound it made. Embracing passion and adventure, whether on land or sea, he blazed his trail from East to West. He was stirred like the wild, powerful nature of the sea; steady; fearless and strong. He also gave of himself, never drawing his own attention; an unassuming, most generous spirit.
Sylvain touched many lives in his too short a time here. He loved deeply. He was loved deeply by family and also by many others who each had their hearts touched uniquely by him. All were made to feel some kind of special bond with Sylvain...a privilege...our lives blessed and made more full by knowing him.
His life and passion will be celebrated and remembered privately as his family gathers together. Please celebrate his life as you wish to keep his memory alive and remember what he meant to you.
Although his ship has sailed, we will cherish our memories of him forever.
