It is with heavy hearts we must announce the sudden passing of our son Tannaar Reeves "Gone Too Soon" He is survived by his mother Dyan Spink and step father Gary Spink and sister Sareh Reeves of Royston, father Garry Reeves and step mother Trisha Stern/Reeves of Victoria and love of his life, Vivian Westendorp. He was a such big part of all who knew him, loved so much and will be so missed by of all his extended family, grandmothers, uncles, aunts and cousins, nephews and nieces and especially his friends and coworkers and all who even just made his acquaintance, however brief, he left his mark on everyone's life he touched.

There will be a celebration of Tannaar's Life/Memorial on Saturday, September 9th, 1pm at the Native Sons Hall in downtown Courtenay. All are welcome. Bring your Stories and your Love. We are asking anyone who has a special picture they would like included in the slideshow, or have words or speeches they would like

to be included, to please contact and send via email to

We would also like to extend an invitation to join us on Sunday Aug. 20th at 1pm at Royston Beach, where we will gather to spread some of Tannaar's ashes, followed by the releasing of balloons attached with ny messages people would like write and to send up to Tannaar so he will know we are always thinking of him.

In lieu of flowers, a Bursary is being established in Tannaar's name to be provided through Camosun College

Trades and Apprenticeships to help full time sheet metal students with financial need to receive assistance.
