Teena of Courtenay, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 21st, 2006. Born November 13, 1924 in Holland, she met and married Albertus on May 28, 1949. She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her family; husband Albertus; children Dirk (Adriana), Albert (Stella), Tina Boon (Pete), John, Ed (Michelle); grandchildren Vince, Steve, Chris, Kevin, Jason, Chad, Justin, Michael; great-grandchildren Devan, Jacob, Jaron, Kaiya; sisters Allie, Doet and Nel. Albertus and Teena emigrated to Manitoba in 1954, came to B.C. in 1988, and in 1994, settled in the Comox Valley. She leaves behind many friends at Kingdom Hall and will be remembered as loving the time spent with her family and walks on the beach. Everyone who knew “Mom” loved her! Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 9:00am from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road. Viewing and visitation will take place one hour prior.
