Terry Leland
May 28, 1924 - July 10, 2007
Born in Canning, N.S., Terry grew up in Kentville and later moved to Toronto, ON. His last 18 months were spent in Courtenay, B.C. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and was always the optimist. Ever the storyteller, Terry enjoyed sales, fishing, boating, watching golf, baseball and wrestling.
Terry was predeceased by his brothers Reginald and Ron and his spouse of 25 years Laurie Nyce. He is survived by sons Rick (Carrol) of Mississauga, ON, Robert (Marsha) of Courtenay, B.C. and daughter Wendy of Courtenay, B.C., Frances (Lantz, Newcombe) Lavery of Comox, B.C., 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 2 nephews, cousins and many friends. There will be no service by his request. Donations in Terry’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
