Thomas Stewart Hierlihy
June 18, 1916 ~ June 19, 2007
Suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, predeceased by his parents and brothers Foster and Arnold. Survived by Hazel, wife of 61 years, son Lynn (Danielle), daughter Pamela, grandchildren Andrée (Mark), Darryl, greatson Marcus, sisters-in-law Pearl and Shirley and many nieces and nephews.
His career in the R.C.M.P. started in Regina in 1940 to Grand Forks, Nelson, BC, Old Crow, Yukon, Killarney, Brandon, Deloraine; Carberry, Manitoba and finished in Ottawa, Ont. in 1966 and another nine years with Manpower and Immigration in Ottawa before retiring to Courtenay, BC in 1975.
No funeral by request. A Celebration of Tom’s life to be held later.
