Jack Russell VETLESON
December 22, 1921 to August 1, 2002
Jack Russell Vetleson of Royston, passed away on August 1st, 2002 in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Married for fifty-four years, he was predeceased by his wife Gladys. Jack is survived b y those who will fondly remember him for his kind and generous manner; his children Elaine Tansley, Bill (Paulette) Vetleson, and Kathy Infanti; his grandchildren Jenny, Adam, Angie and Danielle; his sisters-in-law Irene (George) Guest and Ruth (Bill) Goessaert; as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Melfort, SK, Jack worked as a logger in several locations until settling in the Nimpkish Valley for thirty-five years until his retirement in 1977.
A Memorial Service will be held for Jack at Piercy’s Funeral Home In Courtenay on Thursday, August 8th, 2002 at 1:00 p.m.
Flowers are gratefully declined; however, donations may be made in Jack’s name to the S.P.C.A. at 1668 Ryan Road East in Comox.
