On Sunday afternoon, February 11, 2007, while his wife Kathy held his hand and kissed his cheek, Vic passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sister, his son Robert and daughter Shelley. Left with his memories are his wife of 54 years Kathy, daughter Heather, sons Jim (Marlene) of Alberta and Rowland of Vernon, and granddaughter Denise (Phil) of Victoria, along with extended family and friends.
We are very grateful to the doctors, nurses & support staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital whose professional, calm, kind care supported Vic and his family during his last week of life.
Vic did not want a service. A private family remembrance will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, should friends wish, donations to a charity of their choice would be appreciated.
