PAULOVICH

Wanda

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wanda Paulovich, November 5, 2006. Survived by her husband Mike of 63 years; sons Larry, (Diane); Warren; Brad (Debbie); four grandchildren, Mark, (June); Kevin, Tammy, Mikey, and great-granddaughter Faith. Wanda was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, July 15, 1926. In 1930 she moved to North Star, Alberta, with her parents Walter and Theresa Fedorowicz and sisters Birdie, Minnie and brother Frank. Wanda and Mike lived in Manning, Alberta, until they sold their farm and moved to Courtenay in 1964. Shortly after moving to the Comox Valley Wanda joined the Eagles, Ukrainian, and bowling clubs and helped with the Hospital Auxiliary. Besides her family, her loves included spending time in her garden, playing cards and bingo. Wanda’s kindness and sense of humour will be sorely missed by her relatives, friends and everyone whose lives she touched. A gathering in her honour will be held at the United Church, (Fitzgerald Ave. & 6th St.), on Saturday, November 11th, 2006, at 2:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the local Cancer Society.
