HALLADAY, Warner Henry
(1921 - 2007)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hal Halladay on June 12, 2007. Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad to Daphne and extended family of step-children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents William and Hazel, his brothers Leslie and John and his wives Joan and Muriel. Born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
Hal had a distinguished career in the RCAF, both in Canada and internationally, retiring to Comox. He then began an illustrious career in the Federal Civil Service, finally retiring in Vancouver as Western Regional Director for the Department of Communications. Wherever he went, and whatever he did, he made a difference. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many.
A Memorial Service will be held at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer’s or Diabetes Societies would be much appreciated. Delta Funeral Home 604-946-6040.
