It is with broken hearts that we announce that Wilf Ernest Tantrum passed away on May 21, 2006 at age 61.

He is survived by his soulmate Mary Smith; his children: Jason (Marisa) Tantrum in N.C., Sean (fiance Lindsay) Tantrum, Greg Tantrum, and their mother Darlene Tantrum, all of Edmonton, AB; his cousinsL Jim, Bill and Pat and cousin Marianne McDonald of Kamloops, BC; nephew Dave; and uncle Alvin in Cumberland; and his very good friends and business colleagues that are too numerous to mention.

Wilf was born in Cumberland. His family moved to Vernon where he grew up. Around 1962 he moved to Kamloops, BC.

Wilf followed many pursuits in his lifetime - firefighter, hockey player, golfer, coach and volunteer. His greatest adventure as “Hector the Collector”.

The family would like to thank all the nurses on 3 West and Dr. Julie Anderton for all their wonderful care.

No funeral service by request.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the RIH Cancer Clinic in memory of Wilf would be greatly appreciated.

A Celebration of Wilf’s life will be held at the Kamloops Inn at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27th, 2006.
