Weir, William (Bill) Carnival
Bill passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 9, 2004 at age 90. Born in Maysville, Kentucky October 9, 1913, he is survived by and will be sadly missed by Ethelyn, his loving wife of 61 years, son Ron (Colleen), sister Doris Lintott of Vancouver, Brother John (Jack) Nellist (Fran) of Nanaimo and several nieces and nephews. His granddaughters Allison and Amanda will remember him for his quick wit, easy smile and gentle, giving ways. He was a man of great integrity, and his strength of character and sense of humour touched many lives.
A Memorial Service will be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 2PM followed by a reception at Casa Loma 4646 Headquarters Rd, Courtenay.
Special thanks to Dr. Reggler and the 3rd floor nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital, for their wonderful care and attention.
