Bill died at home with his family by his side on June 15th in his 77th year after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Left to mourn are Nancy Joan, his beloved wife of 56 years, children: Nancy (Murray), Deb (Jane) and Bill (Barbara), and his granddaughters: Kerri, Mandy, Shelby and Lisa.
Special thanks to Dr. Matous and Dr. Hunter for their care and kindness. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Weinerman, Dr. Papp, Dr. Engman, the nurses at the St. Joseph’s Cancer Clinic, staff at St. Joseph’s and Home Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at Comox United Church (250 Beach Dr.) on Wednesday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.
He will be interred at Mission Hill Cemetery.
He lived his life to the fullest but was taken from us too soon. Have a great ride Dad!
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
