Lowry, William (Bill) Victor
1925 ~ 2005
Born April 26, 1925 in Comox, British Columbia, passed away in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on January 27, 2005, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his father William Lowry, mother Rosemary Downey, and sister Mary Ogmundson.
Bill will be lovingly missed by his wife of 53 years Betty, sons Mark & wife Jennifer of O’Hawa, British Columbia, Neal & wife Kim of Crofton, British Columbia and daughters Anne Elliott & husband Bob of Cambridge, Ontario, Jean Lowry & husband Cam Edwards of Georgetown, Guyana, Marie Schaubroeck & husband Marcel of Winnipeg, Manitoba and grandchildren Brandon, Jeffery, Lindsay, Anthony, Christopher, Keely, Greg and Mitchell.
Bill returned to the Island for retirement having lived in many places across Canada leaving children in various cities. Bill enjoyed gardening, but his biggest joy was the success of his children and grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Parksville Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, British Columbia 250-248-4644.
