Bill passed away peacefully on November 2, 2003 in Victoria. Born on April 9, 1925 and raised on Denman Island, Bill served overseas with the Canadian Navy. He had a distinguished career, starting as a lineman with BC Electric and later as a Representative with the IBEW. A long time member of the Masonic Lodge, his other interests were his family and Saltair home. Bill will be sadly missed by his 8 brothers and sisters; his children, Ian (Sherie), Neil (Coleen), Garry (Diana), Brian, Carolyn (Paul Mackenzie); 9 grandchildren; one great-grandson and many friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at McCall Bros. Chapel on Sunday, November 9th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Monday, November 10th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1004 North Park Street, Victoria, B.C.
