Dawn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her parents Leigh and Violet MacKenzie, brother Alan and brother-in-law Pat. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Barry of 48 years, sons Christopher (Jun) and Jody (Mandy), grandsons Cain, Ryder and Lukas, her sister Kathy and Peggy (Tom), brothers Wayne and Ken (Juanita) and sister-in-law Gerry and several nieces and nephews. On behalf of the family we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Carol Galway and Dr.Tanja Daws for their support and compassion. To celebrate Dawn’s life an open house for family and friends will be held on a date TBA. Should friends wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
