Leah McCulloch the opposite of what letter stated

Dear editor,

Dear editor,

I am writing in response to the very nasty letter aimed at Leah McCulloch that appeared in the Record newspaper on election day, when there wasn’t even a chance to respond. I don’t know what kind of person writes a letter that makes such nasty accusations of a person that they don’t even know. That to me is defamation of character.

The Conservative candidate Leah McCullloch has as much right to run in the election as any other candidate. I am also responding to the comments that people who were interviewed on the street made in general about candidates of any party for reasons that they didn’t vote. Comments such as: voting for people who can’t be trusted, want to fill their pockets and are liars. Every comment is the exact opposite of Leah McCulloch.

Leah McCulloch is a person of very high principles. She speaks the truth and does not lie and she is the one candidate that I could say without a doubt is sincerely interested and cares for the people of the Comox Valley as well as the citizens of Canada.

To say that she displays values or agendas that even hint at resembling the NDP is so far from the truth.

Leah is the new kid (adult) on the block, most people in this riding didn’t get a good chance to know her, she was not fairly represented by the media or the newspapers and yet she got 2,061 votes. She isn’t going anywhere so I would advise people to seriously get to know her. She is there for you and NOT to put money in her pockets, and she is a truly sincere and devoted person, and is what the Canadian people need.
