Esquimalt sweeps Oldtimer honours

CFB Esquimalt maintained its hockey dominance over CFB Comox last week when the Pacific Region Oldtimers Hockey Championship was held at Glacier Gardens Arena.

The visitors made short work of the best-of-three series, taking the opener 5-1 on Wednesday then wrapping it up with a 5-3 win on Thursday.

The previous week, Esquimalt teams swept the best-of-three Pacific Region men’s and women’s championships, also held at Glacier Gardens.
