Tough Waters dodgeball tourney on tap
Get prepared to duck, dip, dive and dodge at the inaugural “Tough Waters” pool dodgeball tournament at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
The tournament will be held from 8:15 - 915 p.m. Regular swim session rates apply and the event is suitable for those 16 years and up. The game will be played in the shallow end of the 25-metre pool with an advanced round in the deep end for those who want to test their dodgeball mettle.
“The wave pool, slides, sauna and hot tub will be open as usual,” said the Comox Valley Regional District's manager of recreation programs, Jennifer Zbinden. “This is a fun, value-added event for those who want to really make a splash and play for prizes and bragging rights.”
