Crush advance to Island Cup final

The CVUSC U17 Girls Crush continued their strong season Sunday with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Port Alberni.

With the win the Crush will represent the Upper Island in the Island Cup final hosted by Victoria on April 28.

"The gals are excited to represent UISA in this tournament and will continue to train hard and prepare for it over the next couple of months," a team spokesperson said.

"The Crush would like to thank their sponsor Jane Denham of Re/Max Real Estate Comox Valley for all her support," the spokesperson added.
