Forty-two ladies participated in the Comox Ladies Opening 9-Hole Golf Event April 4.
The team with the lowest number of putts - a total of 70 - was won by Janice Nicklin, Gloria Grieve, Sharon Crowe and Jenny Steel.
Karen Vanetta was the winner of closest to the hole on number 5, and Noreen McCaffrey had the longest putt on hole number 3.
It was a great fun day for the start of the season.
• Tuesday ladies had their first 18-hole event April 6. Twenty seven ladies participated.
