To prepare themselves for the second half of the season, the U15 girls Riptide played a friendly soccer game against the U15 metro Vancouver FC over the holidays.

The girls were excited to get back on the pitch and get the season going. The game was a 1-1 draw. Striker Kailena Krutzmann pocketed the lone goal.

On a sad note, holding midfielder Gillianne Steward broke her wrist on a scramble play. But the coaching staff says she is strong and will be back in no time.
