In honour of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, the Société de développement économique de la Colombie-Britannique invites the public to discover the rich diversity of the region and culture through a series of five free events with the theme of “Celebration of the Senses.”

The festivities began in May in Powell River and continue all summer in Courtenay, Nelson, Kelowna and Vancouver.

The next event is at noon on Friday, June 23 at Wayward Distillation House. Learn about artisanal know-how through a variety of workshops. Activities include a concert, and an unveiling of an artwork commissioned for the event. Above all, don’t miss the culinary experience by Chef Aaron Rail: a three-course dinner paired with Wayward spirits.

A one-of-a-kind occasion that is sure to awaken your senses!

By attending these celebrations, patrons are supporting local and traditional handicrafts, and the manufacturing of quality products in B.C.
