Every evening from Nov. 24 to Dec. 31, Filberg Park in Comox will be open until 9 p.m., encouraging visitors to bundle up for an evening walk through this picture-perfect festive setting.
Even more Christmas lights adorn the heritage buildings and fences of Filberg Park, creating a one-of-a-kind magical backdrop for Christmas at Filberg 2023. The Coastline Property Service team did a fantastic job installing Christmas lights on the heritage buildings for visitors to enjoy.
The kick-off celebrations take place on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 3– 7 p.m. The Canadian Military Wives Choir Comox will kick off the event at the Rotary Stage at 3 p.m. COBS Driftwood Mall will be selling hot dogs with partial proceeds going to the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association. McDonald’s Comox Valley will serve coffee, hot chocolate, and tea on-site. Learn about Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association, purchase your annual membership, and purchase your branded Filberg merchandise. Santa will be visiting the park from 4–6 p.m.
While at Filberg Park, guests can visit the Gift Shop for its “Shop Where Santa Shops” event from 11 a.m.–4 p.m., Fridays through Sundays, and each weekend, there will be a featured artisan to add some great gift ideas to your holiday shopping.
Every Thursday, from Nov. 23–Dec. 14, come and have a guided tour of Filberg Lodge and learn all about the rich history of the building.
