Consultant Karen Jackson facilitates a Sept. 24 workshop that will explore best practices, tips and techniques for working with Gen Y.

The three-hour participatory workshop is designed for small business owners who employ 18-30-year-olds.

Storytellers include Bob Wells, My Tech Guys; Pauline Stevenson, Excel Career College; and Michele Henry, Hot Chocolates & Artisan Bakery.

Bridging the Generation Divide Workshop runs from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Kingfisher, 4330 South Island Hwy.

Charge is $40 for Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce members or $50 for prospective members.

The chamber is collaborating with the Women's Enterprise Centre and Creative Employment Access Society.
