19 Wing Comox ground training occurring Friday at Goose Spit

Twelve Military Police Flight (military police) personnel will conduct training on Feb. 7, and again on March 10, at Canadian Forces Base Comox and at HMCS Quadra on Goose Spit.

The Military Police will be conducting training exercises at Goose Spit Friday, Feb. 7.

Twelve Military Police Flight (military police) personnel will conduct training on Feb. 7, and again on March 10, at Canadian Forces Base Comox and at HMCS Quadra on Goose Spit.

Military police vehicles will be present, and the participating military police members will be exercising with training weapons. Training ammunition (commonly known as blanks) will not be used.

Residents and visitors of the Comox Valley are reminded that these activities are routine military training and that there is no need to report them to 19 Wing Comox or to local emergency services.
