19 Wing Comox hosted an Open Cockpit Day, Saturday at the Comox Air Force Museum’s Heritage Air Park.
Selected aircraft, including the recently added CH-124 Sea King helicopter and a CP-140 Aurora, were available for public viewing. The CL-28 Argus (airplane), CH-113 Labrador (helicopter) and H-21A Piasecki (helicopter) were also available for touring.
Jon Ambler and other museum volunteers were on hand to answer questions.
The Comox Air Force Museum commemorates the role and history of 19 Wing Comox, documenting significant achievements in West Coast Military Aviation History.
