Animal sightings frequent in Courtenay neighbourhood

In the summer months, tubers are a common sight in and around the Puntledge Park neighbourhood in West Courtenay.

So too are animals, particularly racoons, deer and, on occasion, bears.

Motorists are kindly reminded to be extra cautious.

Call 1-877-952-7277 (RAPP) or #7277 on the Telus Mobility Network. If the situation is not an emergency, report the incident online or contact the nearest Conservation Officer Service district office.
