Art Card program needs volunteers

Special Needs Recreation is looking for volunteers to help in its Art Card program for people with developmental disabilities.

Art Card classes are Monday or Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 2 p.m., March 22 to May 31.

Art Cards is a small business organized as a co-op. Artists with developmental disabilities create cards using new and recycled papers, and all proceeds from the sales go to the artists.

If you like making cards and can donate a few hours a week to work with a great group of people, call Heather Crites at the Lewis Centre, 250-338-5371.
