You’re invited to ride BC Transit for a loonie on Monday, Aug. 6.
Customers can expect detours on Route 3 and 4 during the holiday parade, which is scheduled to run down Comox Avenue from approximately 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Comox Valley is celebrating Nautical Days with a free family festival from Aug. 4 to 6. BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District hope to encourage everyone to join in the fun of the long weekend activities with reduced rates on transit trips.
A regular adult fare on BC Transit in the Comox Valley is $1.75 and the regular fare for seniors/youth is $1.50.
