The TinTown Artists set the scene for the warm-hearted connections awaiting visitors to the 17th annual TinTown Christmas Open House, Studio Tour and Sale Saturday Dec. 7

Hands and hearts join together in TinTown on Dec. 7 for a Christmas event like no other. The TinTown Christmas Open House, Studio Tour and Sale is a unique neighbourhood event where artists, businesses and non-profit organizations unite to welcome the public with seasonal spirit, food and creative wares.

A plethora of artful gift options will be on display, with paintings and art cards by Helen Utsal and Anne Davies, stained glass by Nancy Morrison, metal and crystal window sculptures by Roberta Meilleur and designer clothing at Moss Grey Atelier. New this year is fine crafted jewellery by Roberto Fioravanti. As well, mini craft fairs will pop up for the day at Triple Heat Dance Academy and LUSH Valley’s new upstairs space.

Adding to the warm welcomes and seasonal treats at each venue, there’ll be plenty of food and food products. From coffee, baked goods and sandwiches at the TinTown Cafe, shoppers will find fresh baked bread, hot sauces, pasta, preserves, fair trade tea, coffee, chocolate and spices, a food truck selling locally-sourced dishes plus a Korean food market and deli – all within easy ambling distance in this eclectic village setting.

The joy of this season of heartful connecting starts Dec. 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the TinTown Christmas Open House.

Venue maps will be available at each location to help you find your way around. Please respect reserved parking areas and come prepared for whatever weather shows up that day. Check out detailed information on Facebook at bit.ly/christmasintintown
