Hula Hooping is making a comeback in Black Creek.

Find out why everyone is smiling as an ancient toy takes on a new spin.

Join instructor Tracey Mantha at the Black Creek Community Centre for an Introduction to Hula Hooping class beginning Feb. 2, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The class will run for six sessions from Feb. 2 to March 9.

Participants will learn the basics of hula hooping and beyond as they move, play, stretch and go through a core body strength circuit.

If you’re curious or passionate about hula hooping, this class will also take you to the next level as you learn to spin the hoop on your waist, arms, legs and with your hands, learning the many ways to be active with this circular toy.

Custom professional hoops will be provided.

It’s an active hour with emphasis on fun, so leave your worries at the door and be prepared for a full workout.
