Community organizes drop-in cricket game

Alan Dafoe and a few other caring members of the community arranged a friendly cricket match, Friday at Lewis Park, in support of students who were recently harassed due to their race or ethnicity.

Alan Dafoe and a few other caring members of the community arranged a friendly cricket match, Friday at Lewis Park, in support of students who were recently harassed due to their race or ethnicity.

The object of the drop-in match was to celebrate the joy of sport with teams mixed together.

Up to this point, the college students and other friends have enjoyed periodic games without any wickets or stumps. Dafoe and friends arranged for a wooden set of wickets that were used at the event.
