Bay Community Church, an affiliate of the Congregational Christian Churches of Canada, is inviting the community to share in celebrating 30 years on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. at 1105 Pritchard Road, Comox.
In 1997 Bay became one of the founding churches of the Sonshine Lunch Club soup kitchen, which serves on average 110 guests each Friday.
Over the years a number of our members have done short-term missions trips, building libraries in Tanzania, taking prayer and medicine to North Korea, and offering hope and aid in Uganda. The church supports mission and humanitarian work in other parts of Canada and the world. Locally we sponsor Youth for Christ, the Pregnancy Care Centre and Malachi Man.
Bay Community Church offers opportunities to explore deeper Christian spiritual questions within the safe and open environment of small groups meeting during the week.
Bay’s family celebration service will be followed by a luncheon.
The congregation welcomes “old friends and new.” Everyone is warmly invited to stay and enjoy the fellowship.
