The Comox Museum will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11.

“Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the great sacrifices made by so many men and women,” said Comox Archives and Museum Society president, Pam Moughton. “We will be featuring displays to honour all of our veterans, including those from World War I, World War II and the Korean War. Comox has a strong military background. The 102nd Battalion trained at Goose Spit before being shipped out to France and the horrors of World War I. We hope you find time to visit.”

The Comox Archives and Museum Society is open between noon and 4 p.m., Thursday to Saturday. The museum is located at 1729 Comox Ave., opposite the Comox Mall. Admission is free.
