The Comox Valley Brain Injury Society is offering a six-week course on post-injury relationship rebuilding.

“Rebuilding Relationships After Brain Injury” is a six-week series for survivors and a partner or family member.

Pareticipants will learn about:

• Relationship changes and grieving

• An overview of brain injury

• Relationship rebuilding tools

• The 7 R’s of rebuilding and how to use them

• Relationship challenges after brain injury

These workshops will be facilitated by clinical counsellor Leslie Wells, who has more than 25 years of experience helping people. Her work in the field of psychology draws on physiological principles and an understanding of how brains work and the role they play in our emotions and behaviours.

Limited seating and COVID safety protocols will be in place.

The course will be held March 11 – April 15, from 1-3 p.m. at 256 Sixth Street, Courtenay.
