Comox Valley gives back

Comox Valley Record publisher Keith Currie presents YANA (You Are Not Alone) executive director Kelly Barnie with a cheque for $11,000 - the proceeds from the Valley Vonka event. Grand Knight, Larry Jangula of Dr. Briggs Council #4597, presented two cheques totaling $3,500 to Salvation Army Capt. Kevin Elsasser to address food for the needy. $2,000 was from Council funds, and $1,500 was from our Charity Appeal monies, which are normally raised by ticket sales in the mall etc. However, this year because of Covid-19, all ticket sales are online at www.KofCDraw.net/C4597.Grand Knight, Larry Jangula of Dr. Briggs Council #4597, presented two cheques totaling $3,500 to Salvation Army Capt.
