Comox Valley Glacier Grannies holding fundraising driveway sale

The Glacier Grannies have been busy making crafts, and now it’s time for the public to take advantage of the wares.

The Grannies will be holding a Driveway Craft Sale on Saturday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1021 Kingsley Crescent, Foxxwood, in Comox.

In addition to some new crafts, they will also have many of their popular items available, such as smocked dresses for little girls, eco-wraps elegantly wrapped in sets of three, microwave cosies, snap happy bags, taggy blankies for babies, and their beautiful AIDS Angels.

In addition, there will be a table of quality, donated jewelry, and homemade baking, safely wrapped in cling film.

All proceeds will go to the Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The campaign supports African grandmothers, as they raise their grandchildren, orphaned in the HIV & AIDS pandemic, and become strong leaders in their communities.
