Feet feeling chilly? Thinking about gifts?
The Sock It To ’Em sock project is a great way to support a not-for-profit project that supports the homeless and those in need in the Comox Valley.
“We have a great selection of handknit socks for sale, crafted by volunteer knitters,” said organizer Roberta DeDoming, in a press release. “All proceeds go toward items for the homeless & others in need in the Comox Valley. With the help of the Care-A-Van, AVI Health & Community Services and the CV Transition Society, who distribute the goods we provide to those in need, we have contributed thousands of items of merchandise since 2013.”
