Feet feeling chilly? Thinking about gifts?
The Sock It To ’Em sock project is a great way to support a not-for-profit project that supports the homeless and those in need in the Comox Valley.
“We have a great selection of handknit socks for sale, crafted by volunteer knitters,” said organizer Roberta DeDoming, in a press release. “All proceeds go toward items for the homeless & others in need in the Comox Valley. With the help of the Care-A-Van, AVI Health & Community Services and the CV Transition Society, who distribute the goods we provide to those in need, we have contributed thousands of items of merchandise since 2013.”

All shapes and size of socks are available. $35 per pair for adult sizes. Cutie-Patootie Booties galore. $15, or $10 if with another purchase. Limited selection of kids’ socks and even some toques.
“To protect us all, we are having one-to-one sales only again this year by appointment so please get in touch to make a date to come by and browse,” said DeDoming. “Masks please. We accept tap debit or credit cards.”
