The Provincial Health Officer has issued new province-wide restrictions on social interactions and travel, including new restrictions on athletic activities.
As a result, Courtenay Recreation is temporarily cancelling all classes from Friday, Nov. 20 up to and including Monday, Novv. 23 while staff carefully review the orders and adjust safety plans as needed.
The Wellness Centre remains available for pre-registered drop-ins following strict COVID-19 safety protocols.
More information will be provided as details are finalized. Participants will be notified directly regarding program cancellations and credits.
Please note: masks are now required in all public indoor settings by order of the Provincial Health Officer.
City facilities remain closed to drop-in access due to COVID-19. City staff are providing assistance by phone and email, and as many business operations as possible are continuing under the circumstances.
