Christmas at Crown Isle returns with its third annual Holiday Resort Walk and 16th annual Gingerbread Village.

Visit the spectacle of lights, music and Christmas fun and celebrate the season with family and friends.

As soon as visitors turn into the drive leading to Crown Isle, they are greeted by lights and displays to put them in the holiday mood.

The Holiday Resort Walk wraps around the outside of the Crown Isle Clubhouse, with thousands of lights, holiday scenes and characters set up on the grounds.

Santa is waiting by the fireplace in the gazebo to hear your Christmas wishes and take photos. Stroll down Christmas Tree Trail and vote on your favourites decorated by local businesses while festive music fills the air. Have fun with the whole family while playing carnival games and mini golf, or watch a Christmas movie on the big outdoor screen. Warm up in front of the fire while you toast a marshmallow for a tasty s’more treat, or grab a hot chocolate and cookie. Crown Isle staff and volunteers are working hard to make this year even bigger and better than the last, and a memorable Christmas experience for all.

Inside the clubhouse, check out the Gingerbread Village Charity Silent Auction on display Dec. 1-19 with dozens of gingerbread creations and teddy bear baskets filled with goodies.

These entries are all contributed by local community members and businesses, who work hard each year to help Crown Isle make this event a success. Bid on your favourites, and come back for the gala finale on Dec. 19 to claim your prizes.

The Holiday Resort Walk runs Friday-Sunday nights, 5–8 p.m. until Saturday, Dec. 23.

Admission to the Holiday Resort Walk is by cash or non-perishable food donation; proceeds from both events benefit Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness, the Comox Valley Transition Society, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island, and the Comox Valley Food Bank.
