On Remembrance Day we come together to share our gratitude, pride and sorrow as we remember and honour those Canadians who have served our country.
We recognize the great cost paid by those who have served in our military to provide us with the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today, as well as remember that for all casualties of war, military and civilian, there is no peace.
I encourage everyone to take a moment on November 11 to remember and thank those who have done so much for our country and those who continue to serve in peace-keeping efforts.
