The Community Drug Strategy Committee’s first project sponsored by its Alcohol and Drug Prevention Education Fund is taking place this Saturday.
Lake Trail Middle School presents the Parents As Preventors Workshop. The focus of the workshop is how to empower youth to make positive choices not to use drugs and alcohol.
The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Lake Trail Middle School in the drama room. Priority will be given to parents and teachers of students who attend Lake Trail Middle School and Arden, Puntledge and Courtenay elementary schools.
This is a free workshop. As seating is limited, contact Terry Papiernik (Terry.Papiernik@sd71.bc.ca) to reserve your spot and to arrange free childcare, as required.
