The Courtenay and District Museum will celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with an open house from 12 noon to 4 pm on Saturday, July 1st.
There will be free admission, balloons, prize draws and give-aways.
Special activities will include cupcake walks for all ages and hands-on crafts for kids.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Alan Jossul.
While you’re at the museum, take a few moments to check out the expanded exhibits “Pacific Connections” and “Itineraries” which were created in honour of the sesquicentennial.
Canada Day is a great chance to explore history at the museum.
