The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is up and running for another year at the Lion’s Den at 1729 Comox Ave. in Comox.
The program offers free tax filing for qualified individuals, including low-income individuals (up to $30,000 single person; $40,000 couple; $35,000 adult with child), social assistance recipients, aboriginal First Nation, newcomers to Canada, students and senior citizens.
The service is available Tuesdays, from 1-3 p.m. throughout March and April.
