PHOTOS: Goose Spit Polar Bear Swim a splashing success

Boxing Day tradition a food bank fundraiser

More than 100 participants jumped into the water at Goose Spit for the 42nd annual Boxing Day Polar Bear Swim.

Officially, there were 124 registered participants, with the oldest listed as 72 years old.

Registration was by donation to the Comox Valley Food Bank.

There will be another local Polar Bear Swim on New Year’s Day at Saratoga Beach.
